The aim of the project is to reduce isolation and connect LGBTI elders with LGBTI community visitors via skype. There is no cost involved and the program can be tailored to personal needs. For example, we can provide an android tablet device to the LGBTI elder (and provide ongoing technical support); set up the tablet device with a user-friendly screen; arrange internet access; arrange a time that suits the elder to connect.
MindOUT develops and delivers national suicide prevention initiatives aimed at building the capacity of the mental health and suicide prevention sectors to meet the support and wellbeing needs of LGBTI populations.
A Gender Agenda works with, and on behalf of, intersex, transgender and gender diverse people, their friends, families and allies. (ACT)
